Vaccination Services

This is just a selection of the vaccinations we now offer from our pharmacy.  Our trained pharmacist will assess your requirements and ensure that you are protected, whether it's for travel, work or to maintain your health.  We notifiy your GP surgery of private travel vaccinations administered and provide you with written evidence, which also helps to remind you when future doses are needed.  If there's a vaccine you think you require, but it doesn't look like we offer it as a service then please get in touch.

At Cumbria Travel Clinic in Cockermouth, we offer the Dukoral® oral cholera vaccination to help protect adults and children aged two years and over travelling to areas where cholera is a risk. The vaccine provides effective protection against Vibrio cholerae O1 and is easy to take as an oral suspension. Our trained pharmacist provides tailored travel health advice for safe and confident journeys.

At Cumbria Travel Clinic, we provide the Tick-Borne Encephalitis (TBE) vaccination using Ticovac®, designed to protect adults and children travelling to or working in areas where TBE is present. ​We provide other services such as anti-malarials, altitude sickness tablets and travel diarrhoea treatment.

 

We notify your GP surgery of the vaccinations we have administered and also can issue replacement Yellow Fever certificates or even exemption certificates if you are unable to receive a Yellow Fever vaccination for medical reasons.
